Immersive Arts is an ambitious three-year programme taking place across the UK, using an artist-led approach to working with immersive technologies.
In collaboration with the Immersive Arts team, I developed the tone of voice guidance for the project, and the copy for their beautiful website, designed by Honest Studio.
“Working with Jess has been an absolute pleasure! She took the time to truly understand what Immersive Arts stands for and translated that into a tone of voice that feels both accessible and creative.
From the start, Jess was thoughtful, collaborative, and incredibly easy to work with, crafting a comprehensive tone of voice guide and writing the full website copy for our groundbreaking UK-wide funding and support programme for artists interested in developing their work with immersive technologies. Her writing is not only clear and engaging but also full of personality — just like our brilliant branding.
What stood out most was Jess’s ability to balance playfulness with purpose. She captured the heart of what Immersive Arts stands for while making it feel welcoming and accessible to a wide range of artists — especially those who are underrepresented in the arts, including artists identifying as disabled, neurodivergent, or from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
Her words helped bring the brand to life and gave us a confident, consistent voice across everything we do. I would recommend working with Jess she’s brilliant!”
